My 2 Favorite Watches

My Group Shot and Behind the Scenes...

Spent some time gathering all my G Shocks for a group shot and something that is different from my usual one watch one shot style. I'm still an amateur at this therefore please pardon me for the above lousy shot. All photos here are unedited unless otherwise specified. The only edit is the adding of my nick into the photo.

Behind the scenes while setting up the photography platform and also arranging my G Shocks into position. Alot of trial and error especially with the settings of my DSLR. I hope to improve further.

Syncing my Riseman to the Atomic Clock in China

I am situated in Singapore therefore I am rather surprised to be able to receive a L3 signal to sync my Riseman to the Atomic Clock tower in China. Very interesting.

Arrival of my Initial Blue Riseman Today!Ni

The plastic bag and security seal was done when it reached my local postal sorting centre. Pretty neat!

Opening up the box with trembling hands.......

I see it....I see it.....

The Eric Haze designed Casio 30th Anniversary logo. Pretty nice and striking....

Ok, the 3145 Module. I have no idea what it does or what the module means.....gotta go read it up.....But its my first Multi Band casio watch......

Now the tin can has been revealed....

Finally see the watch in the flesh.......

A proper photoshoot of the watch. Pretty nice in my opinion....Love the Blue!

My very very first G Shock!

This was officially my very first G Shock. This was a present to me by my girlfriend then, now my wife in 2001 before I was enlisted into National Service. Its been a nice 12 years and during my 2.5yrs national service, I wore this watch 24/7, cheong sua, cheong everything and it survived in one piece. Very hardy!

Playing with the Photo Editing App again lol

Basically a compilation of my GA G Shocks but the App has its limitations and I could only fit a max of 5 shots in one edited shot....so I had to squeeze my GA-303B Initial Blue in the next Pic below.....

Another edited pics of my remaining G Shocks. Hmmmmm not bad huh? LOL.

Proper Photo of my Breezy Colours Edition G Shock.

Properly taken photo of my "Breezy Colours" Edition. This also comes with the revised 3229 Module as per my "Basic Black" Edition. Basically, the revised module as compared to the 1545 older module is the programming of dates till 2099 instead of 2039. In terms of looks, I still prefer the Basic Black but I got this Breezy Colour to compliment my Basic Black.

My newly Acquired "Breezy Colours" Edition

After acquiring the "Basic Black" edition, I was tempted about "Squares and decided to get this "Breezy Colours" Edition. Looks absolutely beautiful and simple. A good departure from the usual loud colours and funky designs. Simplicity is beauty. Absolutely desirable. As usual due to excitement, the first pic will always suck as it is usually taken using my cellphone. Once I get home morrow night, I will give this baby a proper photoshoot.

Trying out my new Photo Editing App

The app could only fit 5 photos into one shot and viola, its looks pretty good IMO. Am still trying out the app though. For those interested, its Fotorus in Android platform. I am not sure whether it is available on IOS though. Interestingly and coincidentally, the above 5 shots are all analogue cum digital G Shocks lol. Good match I must say lol.

Interestingly, this shot of the 3 G Shocks are actually Digital only. Hmmm........

Proper Photoshoot of my Basic Black

The Basic Black Series: GW-5600BB-1ER. My newfound love. Minimalist design. A brilliant piece to come out from Casio in a long while. Was considering it for more than 2 weeks as I had only pictures to refer to, pictures do not do this watch justice. The watch looks way better in the flesh and while I type this, this watch is on my wrist. Absolutely beautiful.

My G Shocks bought in 2010

This was officially my 2nd G Shock and was influenced by a certain member in SG ROC, he went on a buying spree of G Shocks and I got the G Shock virus and got this. I got this at G Factory Millenia Walk in 2010 and the shop is no longer around now.

I got this Bumble Bee in 2010 or 2011, can't really remember but this was my most problematic G Shock so far, whenever I put it on, the analogue time and digital time would go misaligned. I reset and calibrated it myself but after less than an hour of wearing it, the time kept resetting. I sent it back to Vivo G Factory where I got it 3 times and was at the service centre for months for the 3 times I sent in. Each time it came back with the same problem. Pissed, I called their service hotline to complain and the customer service got back to me within the day and I could go down to G Factory Vivo to do a one to one exchange. So far so good after exchanging for a brand new piece.

My 2 Latest G Shocks!

This Red "Crazy Colour" G Shock had been on my wanted list for quite awhile and I have never seen it in any G Factories I visited and the prices that were being sold at online was albeit ridiculous for a normal production G Shock. Held off the purchase and last week I had reserved a Burton Edition G Shock at NEX G Factory, was there to collect my Burton and I saw this Red "Crazy Colour" in the display, I hesitated for awhile before I pulled the trigger for this Red "Crazy Colour" instead! Now I am a happy man! lol.

I didn't really like this Purple "Crazy Colour" edition and while buying the Red "Crazy Colour" edition, I saw this piece too but it never caught my fancy. Till a few days later on the date of the release of the Nigel Sylvester G Shock, I was looking at the Nigel Sylvester G Shock, I found it was rather disappointing in the flesh.....so I decided not to buy it. Looked around the G Factory and I saw this again, hmmmm this time round it seemed more attractive. Walked out of the shop and walked around. After less than 5 mins, I walked back and purchased this piece. This is a piece that gets more beautiful the longer you own it and the more you look at it. Very nice piece and happy it is in my collection now.

My Fav G Shock

Been eyeing this for quite awhile already and finally found it in G Factory going for its retail price!!! Instead of paying for inflated prices at websites or buying from others on Ebay. Very happy with this purchase!

New Photo Shoot of my G Shocks

The Rising Red Frogman. Whilst browsing at G Factory Bugis, I saw this priced at $709. I remarked to my buddy Patrick that only a person of unsound mind would pay 700 bucks for a Plastic G Shock. Less than a week later, I went down and got this. So now, I am a person of unsound mind LOL!

This is the Initial Blue edition of the GA303, I got this as a pair to my partner which I got a Black Garish GA. It was meant to be worn together as a pair. After this purchased, I got into a G Shock frenzy and quickly buying a few more G Shocks in succession. Really addictive.....

Ahhh, the Rising Red Mudman. After getting the Rising Red Frogman, I was browsing the web on the Rising Red Mudman and looking at the features of the Mudman, I had to have it and thus back to G Factory Bugis and this is now in my possession.

This is a really striking watch and I got this for my other half and she simply loves it. This is also one of the G Shocks in addition to the Initial Blue GA303 that got me into a G Shock buying frenzy lol.
